What’s your favourite scary movie? If you don’t have one, you soon will!  Today I’ll be reviewing the Scream franchise! Scream is a teen slasher franchise that is considered one of the most popular horror series. The Scream films follow the iconic masked killer Ghostface and their gruesome murders. Ghostface is a different person in every movie so every character is a suspect. Ghostface’s motives for killing people are personal vendettas, fame and revenge depending on the film. The Scream Franchise currently has six films with a seventh coming out in 2026. The Scream franchise is an iconic slasher series with elements of mystery and horror. When watching each film, the audience doesn’t know the identity of Ghostface, which creates mystery and suspense for the viewer. If you haven’t heard of The Hunger Games, have you been living under a rock like Peeta and Katniss?  Today I’ll be reviewing the Hunger Games film Franchise! The Hunger Games is a popular dystopian film franchise that follows the people of Panem through the Hunger Games. The Hu nger Games was adapted from a book  series written by Suzanne Collins. The Hunger Games are an annual event that occurs in Panem for the entertainm ent of the Capitol. One boy and one girl aged twelve to eighteen from each of the twelve districts are reaped into a battle to the death. The Hunger Games franchise currently has five films with a sixth coming out in 2026. These films are The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mockingjay Part 1, Mockingjay Part 2 and The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
